Send a POST request to /api/v1/extract with a target URL. Brandohue visits the page, analyzes its HTML, CSS, and assets, then returns a comprehensive brand profile including the site name, logo URL, favicon, color palette, page title, and meta description.

Create a free account at brandohue.com/register — you'll get 1000 free credits on sign up. Then navigate to the API Keys page in your dashboard. Click "Create API Key", give it a name, and copy your key. Store it securely — it won't be shown again.

Brandohue uses a pay-as-you-go credit system. Each extraction costs 1 credit. New accounts start with 1000 free credits. You can purchase additional credit packages starting at affordable rates. Credits never expire, so you only pay for what you use. Visit the billing page for current pricing.

A credit is the unit of usage on Brandohue. Each successful API call to the extract endpoint consumes 1 credit. Cached responses (when useCache: true is set and a recent cache exists) cost 0 credits.

No. Credits never expire. Once purchased, they remain on your account until used.

Brandohue detects SVG logos, PNG logos, and other common image formats found on websites. SVG logos are prioritized whenever available because they scale to any size without quality loss.

If Brandohue cannot access the target website (due to bot protection, geo-restrictions, or downtime), the API returns an error with details. You'll see a 408 (timeout) or 422 (unprocessable) status code explaining the issue. No credits are deducted for failed extractions.

Most extractions complete in under 3 seconds. The exact time depends on the target website's response time and complexity. Cached responses are near-instant since no network round-trip to the target is needed.
